Five people, including three brothers, have been arrested in Córdoba province for allegedly running a drug gang that used a nursing home to store narcotics. According to the official information from the Ministry of Public Prosecutor and accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the Justice Department issued search warrants in the Sur neighborhood of Marcos Juárez and La Fortuna, Centro, and the southern zone of Leones. As a result, two men and three women were arrested. Officers from the Anti-Drug Police Force seized 693,000 pesos, 135 doses of marijuana, 23 doses of cocaine, two vehicles, a 16-gauge shotgun, and other objects of interest to the investigation. Investigators confirmed that the organization stored the narcotics in a nursing home, while the main accused sold the illegal substances from his residence. The main suspect has a prior record for drug trafficking from 2018, was released, and then re-offended related to drug dealing. Police closed three bunkers, and it was decided to transfer the detainees to the judicial headquarters along with the seized objects.
